ORIGINAL STORY: According to CHP, a SIG Alert is in place due to a large amount of fog and stopped traffic near Prado Road in San Luis Obispo.
The northbound Prado Road on-ramp is closed and CHP is diverting traffic at Los Osos Valley Road.
According to CHP, there was a person lying in the fast lane on Highway 101 at approximately 6:15 Thursday morning.
Reports came in that the person in the road was hit by a vehicle.
